Best Racers 2011 Version: Sebastian Vettel-Special Sports Edition.Sebastian Vettel became quite fenomal racer with glittering appearance of the season. After the 2011 F1 champion, today won a special award from the F1 team boss as the best racer in 2011.
This is a regular event each year that have been held by the media in the Autosport Awards and this year Vettel in the first position, while the second position is occupied by Jenson Button who was the winner of last year, and in the third position is occupied by Fernando Alonso.
The assessment is done by giving the numbers on each rider according to the points system in F1 races such as 25-18-15-12-10-8-6-4-2-1.
Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner, had felt sure that if drivers are able to snatch this award. "It felt pretty amazing if it was not Vettel who won the award this year," he is quoted by Autosport, (12/16/2011).
Who participated in this election there are few F1 bosses include: Christian Horner, Martin Whitmarsh, Stefano Domenicali, Ross Brawn, Eric Boullier, Frank Williams, Vijay Mallya, Peter Sauber, Tony Fernandes, Colin Kolles and John Booth. With the exception of bosses Toto Rosso-Ferrari, Scuderia Toro Rosso, he was reluctant to go to points.
Sebastian Vettel has previously won this poll in 2009 by winning 76 points and managed to beat Jenson Button who only has 67 points only.Below is the result of polling the best F1 driver in F1 boss:
